Wedding Fashion, Styled Like a Story Worth Telling

Unbridled. Unconditional. Unapologetically You.

Wear the look that rewrites tradition on the queerest day of your life.

The Details:

  • Starting at $1,800 per person (for ceremony styling and does not include cost of attire).
  • For an additional add on cost, outfits for engagement shoots, rehearsal dinners, receptions, after-parties, next-day brunches, or anything else on the wedding agenda are available to add on.

Who want their wedding outfit to reflect who they are, not who someone else wants them to be

Who have never felt like themselves in a suit or a dress—and know there’s something better out there

Who are queer, fashion-forward, and don't see themselves represented in bridal fashion

This was designed for (but is not exclusive to those):

What you get (that no one else offers):

Booked!

  • You’ll create two mood boards: one filled with fashion you love (wedding or not), and one with non-fashion art that just feels like you—things that hit emotionally, viscerally, or intuitively.
  • You fill out a long questionnaire for me about your personal style, likes, dislikes, and personal expression.

  • We’ll hop on a 2-hour Zoom call to unpack everything and explore early ideas I’ve pulled for you. It’s a collaborative jam session, not an interview, and I promise, two hours fly by.
  • Review a personalized moodboard made for you to find your favorite looks and the patterns they exhibit to create the general direction of the look.

This stage is for determining how we’re going to obtain the best look possible with the situation we’re given.

Chartering the Terrain

Planning your Route

  • Determining context and contours of the journey such as budget, sizing, timeline, and other contextual factors that may play a role in how we find the outfit.
  • This is where my sourcing strategy really shines. If we’re working with a tighter budget, I don’t reach for fast fashion; instead, I tap into my deep secondhand and resale network to find ethical, stunning options that still feel personal and elevated.

  • Once we have all the factors that will affect how we go about this journey, we can plan for the best possible outcome. This is usually most dependent on time and budget but can also be affected by things like location and size inclusivity.
  • Depending on what we uncover, your sourcing strategy could include custom commissions, ready-to-wear designer pieces, small business gems, secondhand treasures, or a curated mix of all four.

Planning Your Route

Chartering the Terrain

  • I execute backend research to curate viable options and then present them to you, noting important details, and vetting them all beforehand.
  • You review the options and provide all feedback, positive, negative, and neutral, to help me get on the right path. Our first few rounds happen live over Zoom so I can get inside your reactions in real time—not just what you say you like, but what lights you up.
  • Noting the feedback, I repeat until we find the one.

Part 3:

As if using a map to find a place that doesn’t exist yet—but you’ll know it when you see it. Sometimes we reroute, sometimes we start over. The process is flexible, but the outcome is sacred: you in an outfit you love.

The sourcing journey begins

Part 4:

This is the phase where we are putting on the finishing touches and adding details.

Setting up Camp (the finishing touches):

  • Adding all the accessories: shoes, a headpiece, jewelry, anything to complete the look.
  • Coordination with vendors: communicating style direction with hair and makeup vendors, sending finalized looks to photographer and planning the best detail shots for the outfits, and communicating color schemes with florist if needed.
  • Final fitting: Trying everything on once to make sure we know how to style it day of. This is our style rehearsal—making sure the full look is ready for the spotlight. It usually happens on Zoom, but I also offer day-of styling if you’re flying me out.

The Big Day!

Here’s what happens when queer people finally see themselves in what they wear.

"I was so comfortable and felt so myself. My clothes decreased my photo anxiety by 200%"
- newlywed

"Sooooooooo many compliments!"
- newlywed

"You've made picking out clothing so much easier and less stressful and have let me starting to believe that I"ll look attractive on my wedding day."
- Nearlywed

"Kati it was everything. The compliments were unrivaled."
- newlywed

"You crushed it so hard Kati!!! I felt so comfortable and so myself and so chic"
- newlywed

"I think it was worth every penny and I have no notes"
- newlywed

You deserve to feel like this, too.

Where are you located and do you offer virtual services?

I'm based in Washington, DC, but all styling services are designed to work virtually, with optional in-person elements such as fittings or events if the travel is covered by the client.

Do you travel?

All the time! For fittings, shopping, and emergencies, I'm there. I just ask that clients pay for travel and accommodation and we will discuss those logistics ahead of time so there are no surprises.

I am [insert gender identity here]. Do you style people like me?

yes.

Can you help me find something custom or made-to-measure?

Absolutely. I often work directly with designers to bring custom pieces to life, especially for weddings.

How far in advance should I book you?

As soon as possible! Most people book me 8-10 months out from their big day and while at least 4-6 months prior to the big day is ideal, I can accommodate shorter timelines if need be, but timelines shorter than 3 months prior may be subject to a an additional fee.

Do you work with clients who don’t identify as queer?

While my work is rooted in queer experience and style identity, I work with anyone who aligns with my values and approach.

What’s your approach to sustainability?

I prioritize resale, vintage, ethical sourcing, and rewearability while avoiding fast fashion in every possible way.

Can I book you for more than one outfit?

Yes!! While the ceremony look starts at $1,800, additional looks can be added on to that number for however many you want, be it an engagement shoot, welcome party, reception, afterparty, day after brunch, or honeymoon capsule wardrobe!

Do you earn commissions or affiliate fees?

Some of what I recommend to you will earn me affiliate commission through my styling platform, Hue & Stripe. Affiliate commission never influences my recommendations to you as a stylist, these fees do not change the cost of your product whatsoever, and in fact, supplements my income so I can keep my service rates lower.

Does the price of wedding styling include the clothing?

No. The price is calculated by the multiplying an hourly wage by the average number of hours spent on previous clients plus the cost of all my virtual systems needed for the year divided by the number of clients I'm guessing I'll have in any given year, usually rounding because my OCD really doesn't like when I send invoices that have decimals.

Do you accept payment plans?

Yes!! While I can craft my own invoice payment plans, I do not use programs like Klarna or Afterpay.
